Terms of Service

By accessing or using KidStar, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using KidStar on behalf of a family, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms.

KidStar is intended for use by families. Parents or legal guardians must create and manage accounts. Children may only use the app under parental supervision and with parental consent.

KidStar is a family chore management application that allows parents to:

• Create and assign chores to children
• Track chore completion and award points
• Set up rewards that children can redeem with earned points
• Manage family activities and encourage responsibility

KidStar is provided free of charge. We may introduce premium features in the future, but core functionality will always remain free.

Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must not share your account credentials with others

Child Accounts

• Only parents/guardians can create child profiles
• Children access the app through secure login codes
• Parents are responsible for their children's use of the app
• Child data is managed entirely by the parent account

You agree not to:

• Use KidStar for any unlawful purpose
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use KidStar to harm, exploit, or endanger children

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, chore descriptions, etc.). By uploading content, you grant KidStar a license to use it for providing the service.

Our Content

KidStar, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

KidStar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KidStar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

The points and rewards system within KidStar has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or goods outside the family unit.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
